Dominick and Lauren met on a dating app while Dominick was up visiting his family in Connecticut. Only a few messages into their exchange, they realized how many values they shared and figured they’d give it a go and grab dinner before Dominick drove five hours back to his place in Maryland.
From the inception of their relationship, Dominick and Lauren both knew their end goal in dating was to get married, and it was through this lens that they examined one another. Hours of each evening following their first dinner were spent on FaceTime, talking about anything and everything, such as their favorite shows; personal histories; and how many kids they each wanted. Nothing was off limits.
Less than two weeks after Dominick and Lauren's first date, they met up in the Baltimore airport during Lauren's layover to visit a friend. While this was only their second time together in person, in this moment, over airport pizza, Dominick asked Lauren to be his girlfriend. She gladly accepted.
Dominick and Lauren's wedding date will mark just over two years spent together. They both believe marriage is a covenant before God and that love is not a feeling but a choice made every moment of every day. Both Dominick and Lauren have chosen to spend the rest of their lives loving and supporting one another, and they look to their future as a couple with great anticipation.
